The slogan of the congress is national determination to comprehensively register and evaluate hospital infections and improve the quality of equipment and materials in the field of infection control and sterilization in order to increase the safety of patients and employees with priority in high-risk departments, and the goal of the congress is to integrate and coordinate between all related and active institutions and organizations in the field of infection control. And sterilization is to reduce hospital infections (acquired infections caused by medical services).
In the country, we did not have a specialized congress that examines the standards and related processes of medical equipment and materials in the field of infection control in sterilization, and most of the infection control congresses involved discussions related to disinfectant solutions, microbial cultures, and related issues in this field. They discussed the field and did not consider the medical equipment and related standards that exist in this field and are very wide.
In this congress, all the equipment and materials in the field of infection control and sterilization, including sterilizing, washing and disinfecting systems in the central sterilization departments – operating rooms – laboratories – dentistry – special departments – endoscopy – systems related to decontamination of infectious waste In hospitals, solutions and disinfectants, air purification and disinfection systems, medical gas production and transmission systems, especially medical air – disposable clothing and equipment – systems in Landry – sewage treatment department, etc. are considered.
